January 8-16 - Deep Winter Experience - Get ready to be buried in Deep Winter. Whistler Blackcomb’s nine day Deep Winter Experience features a variety of experiences inspired by January’s snow storms including avalanche tours and ski and snowboard clinics. The week’s pinnacle event is the legendary Deep Winter Photo Challenge slideshow on Saturday, January 15 at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. The photo challenge will see five professional photographers shoot in-bounds at Whistler Blackcomb for three days, capturing athletes in powder filled bowls, deep powder trees and aprčs bars.

TELUS Winter Classic - The TELUS Winter Classic is back and it's bigger and better for 2011! Partake in a fun-filled weekend of wine tastings, gourmet food, ski events and famous Mountain Top Gala. WinterPRIDE - Don’t miss one of the biggest and best gay ski weeks in the world! 2011 marks the 19th anniversary of Whistler’s WinterPRIDE. The celebration features a full slate of events from dog sledding and snowmobiling adventures to wine tasting, a pool party, snowball dance, fantastic skiing and snowboarding and everything in-between.

Whistler Winter Arts Festival - A dynamic two-month program, this is a festival of live music, snow sculpting, film screenings, art and photography exhibitions, and literary soirees, under the sun or under the stars. The 2010 program featured free outdoor performances by world renowned Canadian musicians; storytelling events featuring 2008 Giller prize winner Joseph Boyden – “literally” between the sheets; original short films from BC filmmakers; an exhibition of regional art; and the return of the Canadian Snow Sculpture Team. Whistler Cup - Having completed its 19th year, Whistler Cup has grown to become the largest and most important ski race in North America, and internationally, for athletes aged 11 to 14 years. It is held under the auspice of FIS, the international governing body for alpine skiing, and with hundreds of young athletes from 23 countries participating, the Whistler Cup brings together children from many different cultures. TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival - Don't miss the season wrap party that celebrates Whistler's unique and fantastic mountain culture! Now in its 16th year, you'll experience 10 days and 10 nights of the biggest annual festival of winter sports, music and the arts there is. Featuring sport competitions, FREE daily outdoor concerts, endless all-night after parties with internationally acclaimed DJs, fashion shows, photography and art exhibits, film screenings, theatre and of course the best skiing and riding in the world.
